"Any art is an imitation of nature" (Seneca)
With heavy lead I worked a lot. Close to the body, a way of feeling what things
are of. Before ease, there is sweat, but it's not just flesh. The gaze wants
to go beyond the touch. Foundation , framework, shape, light, and then comes
the texture, the touch. I chose a few of my cats. Always alert, they are at
the same time excellent models and teachers and we learn from them how to seize
and enjoy the present moment.
